"Outdoor lighting isn't just what I do—it's what I genuinely enjoy!"
Owner & Lighting Designer
Thank you for expressing interest in my business! My name is Justin, and I’ve been working with my hands for as long as I can remember. Summers growing up meant job sites—irrigation, construction, you name it—usually alongside my dad. During college, I spent my summers working on luxury lake homes in Minnesota, where I developed a deep appreciation for high-end lighting design and the impact it can have on a property. That experience laid the foundation for everything I do today.
When the world hit pause during COVID and certain markets slowed, I leaned into something I actually enjoyed—transforming outdoor spaces with light. What started as a side hustle quickly grew into a full-time business, built on strong design, quality work, and honest communication.
At Lindquist Outdoor Lighting, our values are quality, integrity, and purpose—and they show up in every detail of what we do. We’re proudly based in Longmont and serve homeowners and businesses across Northern Colorado and beyond, personally led by me as your designer and point of contact from start to finish.
When I’m not on a job site or working on a new design, you’ll usually find me outdoors, spending time with family, or tinkering on projects in the shop.
We’re one of the only lighting companies in Colorado that prioritizes Dark Sky compliant lighting. Our designs use shielded fixtures and warm color temperatures that minimize light pollution while still providing beautiful, effective illumination. We believe in protecting Colorado’s stunning night skies while creating outdoor spaces that are safe, functional, and inviting.
We serve homeowners and businesses throughout Northern Colorado, Denver Metro, and mountain resort communities including Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont, Castle Rock, Cherry Hills, Vail, Breckenridge, and Aspen. Custom projects considered throughout Colorado.
Professional landscape lighting transforms how you experience your outdoor spaces. Whether you’re planning a complete property lighting system or want to highlight specific features, we’ll create a design that showcases your landscaping investment.
